Premium Purchase Orders Add-On

Hi. When can we expect the Premium Purchase Orders Add-On to be available? I am anxiously awaiting this feature!
We need to be able to select a supplier and automatically populate a purchase order with items from that supplier that have been ordered by customers since the last purchase order was created. This data should be easily attainable from customer order details.
This would save us hours of time. Creating purchase orders one line item at a time, with no sales data as context is a real drag. If we could just click a supplier and automatically create a purchase order populated with everything that needs to be ordered, it would only take minutes instead of hours.
WooCommerce already knows what needs to be ordered, because it knows what has been ordered. This data should be the basis of purchase orders.

This add-on is the next priority for us and we believe that the work of developing it will start in January 2020 with the release expected in the middle of the same year.

I second exactly what thecelticcroft has said. I see that stocktakes (also v important) is noted as coming soon but nothing about POs on the website? Is this release imminent or gone on hold?

Thanks for your reply. I would like to request as you develop this add-on, please make sure it works equally well with special-order products (not inventory controlled) as it does with stock items.

For example, our WooCommerce store specializes in custom-made-to-order clothing and accessories. So when a customer places an order, the products have many attributes specified: fabric choices, colors, measurements, options, etc. All of this information needs to be communicated quickly and easily in the purchase-order when it is generated. This information is all in the database, so it should be easy to incorporate.

For most of these products it is impossible to have variation SKUs. The variations would be nearly infinite. So each custom item needs to be its own line item in the purchase-order, even if the SKU is the same, each with different attributes specified.

So just for example, we are sending a purchase order to one of our custom tailor shops. This week we need them to make 6 shirts in 2 styles, represented by 2 SKUs. The purchase-order might look something like this:
QTY 1 CSHIRT-SS Custom Shirt Short Sleeve - Silk, Blue, Twill Weave, 17 Neck, 34 Chest, Pearl buttons
QTY 1 CSHIRT-SS Custom Shirt Short Sleeve - Polyester, Red, Plain Weave, 14 Neck, 28 Chest, Black Buttons
QTY 1 CSHIRT-SS Custom Shirt Short Sleeve - Silk, Cream, Plain Weave, 23 Neck, 44 Chest, Bone Buttons
QTY 1 CSHIRT-LS Custom Shirt Long Sleeve - Cotton, Purple, 21 Neck, 26 Sleeve, 44 Chest, Purple Buttons
QTY 2 CSHIRT-LS Custom Shirt Long Sleeve - Cotton, Blue, 21 Neck, 26 Sleeve, 44 Chest, Blue Buttons

(Customer ordered 2 of the exact same shirt)

For super extra bonus points it would be awesome to have the option to include the customer's order number with each custom item. We're doing that now when we create purchase-orders manually, and our suppliers will write the order number on the tag of each product they make. This way, when the shipment arrives from our supplier, we can easily match each custom product with the customer order waiting to be shipped.

I will gladly pay any reasonable licensing cost to have these features! If your premium purchase order plugin does what we need it to, it will save us hours of time and payroll dollars per week. It will also prevent many errors, which are easy to make when info is being copy/pasted or even hand-typed into purchase orders, as we are doing now.

yes would love this feature to.
One thing to mention, sometimes it's only possible on certain products to buy a box with i.e. 6 items, so this would be perfect to handle too, means like set:
- a should have stock per product/variant
- a possible order quantity per product/variant

purchase order should then be autogenerated according backlog and possible quantity to fullfill "should have stock" limit.

I don't understand exactly what you mean, however, Purchase Orders are not going to autoregenerate.

But we keep this suggestion in mind.

Any inventory managment without actual purchase order capability is only for very small companies.
