As part of the next ATUM Export Pro update that we are going to release today (version 1.1.2.3), we are going to include the awaited Import module (together with some other ATUM Export Pro fixes).
By default, this module will be hidden until it reaches a stable version (it's still in Beta). So, all the users who want to participate in our private beta testing phase, need to follow these instructions:
- Browse your web server with any file manager (or by FTP) and open up the wp-config.php file with the file editor of your choice.
- Just above the line that says
/* That's all, stop editing! Happy publishing. */
, add this code:
define( 'ATUM_BETA_TESTING', true );
- And that's all. Go to the ATUM Export Pro page and you'll see the "Import" link on the top menu.
IMPORTANT NOTE: As stated above, the current version of the import module is still in Beta and may have bugs, so we strongly recommend not to use this on production sites and to have a database backup that you are able to restore if your data goes damaged or lost.
We'll remove this post once the Import module reaches a stable version and it's directly available for everyone.
We would be very grateful if the users who decide to participate in the Beta testing phase, leave the bugs/issues they find while testing the import module on this post.
Thanks to all beta testers in advance,
The ATUM Team.
